Welcome to Jackie Allender Photography, your dedicated newborn photographer in Kent Town and surrounding areas, South Australia. Our newborn photography sessions are designed to create a calm and relaxing environment, allowing you to sit back and enjoy as we capture the precious early moments of your baby's life.

Our studio, located in Kent Town, offers a warm and comfortable setting equipped with a wide array of newborn photography props and outfits. This variety ensures your baby photoshoot is personalised and reflects your family's unique style.

We believe in the importance of family connections during this special time. That's why our newborn photoshoots include siblings and parents, capturing the love and bond that surrounds your new arrival.

After your session, you'll be invited to a viewing appointment where you'll see a curated gallery of the best images from your newborn photoshoot. Here, you can select your favorite moments to be transformed into cherished prints, albums, or wall art, preserving these memories for years to come.

Lifestyle Sessions are available

These are ideal to those families who wish to capture the full experience with our newborn sessions, you have the choice of traditional portrait style photography, the use of our lifestyle set up and associated wardrobe. Grandparents, parents and siblings are all welcome in this session

  • Photography Session at the Studio up to 3 hours

  • Gallery of Hi-Resolution professionally hand edited Digital Images

  • All props and outfits for your newborn are provided

  • I am experienced, I’ve been photographing since 2015

    I continually invest in my education with workshops and online learning, I have Cert iii in Photo Imaging and a Diploma in Photography and Digital Media,

    Newborn safety is a number one priority, your baby will never be posed in a unsafe position or one they or you are uncomfortable with. All my sessions are baby led and at times you may be asked to assist.

    My vaccinations are all up to date, including Covid, Whooping Cough as I understand as a mum myself how important it is and especially with your precious newborn!Description text goes here

  • Newborn Photography is best captured around 5-12 days when they are sleepy, curly, brand-new. But honestly, it doesn’t really matter, we love to photograph older babies too!

  • Ideally in your third trimester, we choose a date close to your due date and adjust if need be if baby arrives later or earlier than expected!

  • Newborn Sessions are held in the studio at Kent Town, it is fully equipped with props, outfits, wraps and more

  • We have a small selection of dresses in our studio wardrobe to use with our lifestyle session and you are welcome to choose from anything in our studio.

    You can ‘mix and match’ from things at home, or you’re welcome to bring along anything you’d like from home.

    Plain and simple works best, anything that you feel fabulous in. For partners, anything coordinating with you is perfect – keep it simple and steer clear of any large patterns or logos. If in doubt, just get in touch and we can help co-ordinate the whole family if you need.
